Okay, so I may be starting some controversy here.... http://www.webhostingusers.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif , but hopefully it will spur some good discussion.

I found a couple of good articles comparing the top hosting control panels. The articles are a couple of years old, so they might need to be updated.

Here are the links to them:
http://www.webhostingusers.com/a/680000/354/47/11/Articles/Web-Hosting/Web-Hosting-control-panels-compared---Part-1

http://www.webhostingusers.com/a/680000/355/47/11/Articles/Web-Hosting/WebHosting-control-panels-compared---Part-2

Here is the conclusion at the end of Part 2:

Overall score

Rating: 4.5 out of 5: Hsphere - Very Feature rich, especially Sitestudio, PostgreSQLand Urchin support. Lack of prebuilt content management system, gallery.
Rating: 4 out of 5: Ensim Pro - A good package with a few exceptions like PostgreSQL and Site builder.
Rating: 3.5 out of 5: Plesk - Rich 3rdparty script support. Strong email and Developmenttools. But upgrade required for many.
Rating: 2.5 out of 5: Cpanel - Somewhat dated 3rdparty software. Lacking in Database and development tool support. Lack of Tomcat and PostgreSQL. Its easy to add scripts though.
So, the $64,000 question is: After you read these articles, do you agree with this assessment? If not how would you order them and why?
