my experience tells that nofollow has no big effect on your SEO. For several months my ads and other sponsored links were without that tag, and while I added it to the anchor, I didn't notice increase in google rank or placement neither any traffic increment. I cannot say for sure the nofollow is still regarded in any way by googlebot.
