Hello,
I ran across this article the other day
http://www.seo-news.com/archives/2008/dec/4.html
I found it to be pretty interesting. I am not sure on the breakdown of the percentages on "what folks spend the most, Google people, Yahoo people, etc" as I was always under the impression that people who search with Yahoo are the big spenders. This is something that leads to another question or a breakdown when it comes to search engines users.
Google: I figure Google people to be those of the younger generation, throwing up searches for celebrities, ****, games, etc, “Individuals less likely to spend money.”
Yahoo: I figure more of the older generation, stuck in the Yahoo ways and those that do not like change, Blue collar type of folks who are ready to spend money online via credit cards.
MSN: I always figured to be the news hounds of the internet. However with the live search deal this maybe something I just might have over looked. I also notice the deal they have on what they are calling “money back” for certain searches and links.
What do you all think?
I am giving it a shot to see if I notice anything different when it comes to this stuff and I have even placed a PPC deal with MSN (small budget deal …to test). I will keep you posted.
