My reasons behind chaning hosts falls into the groups poor survice - I have expected everything but CPU quotas exceeding and mysql number of connections limiitted. Maybe this is also because my traffic increased - but they should have mentioned it in there proposal ... this creates another option for changing web host provider: lack of confidence and unability to provide the promised service.
Due to the boom in the online activity now it is possible even for a low skilled people to bring up and run a online business - these resulted in high demand of hosting providers - who overgrew the demand and started competing by lowering the fees which resulted in overselling and poor service.
My lessons is - check out for features - search the web for feedback and don't be a miser- that is be true to yourself and choose what you need.
